PortaPint Soda Water Carbonator – Sparkling Water for PortaPint Dispensers

The PortaPint Soda Water Carbonator allows you to dispense freshly carbonated, chilled sparkling water directly through a compatible twin-tap PortaPint dispenser. Ideal for bars, events, mobile bars and hospitality venues, it provides a convenient way to add soda water or sparkling water on tap to your drinks dispense setup.

Simply connect a suitable filtered mains water supply to the carbonator, then connect the carbonated water outlet to the product inlet of your PortaPint dispenser. The PortaPint then chills the carbonated water ready for dispensing through the tap.

The carbonator requires a suitable high-pressure beverage CO₂ supply to carbonate the incoming water effectively.

How Does the PortaPint Soda Water Carbonator Work?

The PortaPint Soda Water Carbonator sits between your incoming water supply and the PortaPint dispenser.

The basic setup is:

Filtered Water → Soda Water Carbonator → PortaPint Dispenser → Dispense Tap

A CO₂ supply is connected separately to the gas inlet of the carbonator. The carbonator introduces CO₂ into the water before sending the carbonated water to the PortaPint for chilling and dispensing.

Good incoming water pressure is important for reliable carbonator operation and consistent soda water production.

CO₂ Pressure Requirements

The carbonator requires a high-pressure CO₂ supply, typically around 80–100 PSI, to achieve effective carbonation.

A suitable high-pressure beverage CO₂ regulator must be used. Standard beer dispense regulators may not provide the pressure required for a soda water carbonator.

Do not use a welding or industrial gas regulator. The regulator must be designed and rated for beverage dispense applications and suitable for the required operating pressure.

Compatible with Twin-Tap PortaPint Dispensers

The PortaPint Soda Water Carbonator is compatible with twin-tap PortaPint dispensers, allowing one dispense point to be configured for chilled carbonated water where required.

This makes it particularly useful for mobile bars and events where soda water is needed for:

Add Soda Water to Your PortaPint Dispenser

The PortaPint Soda Water Carbonator provides a compact solution for adding freshly carbonated water to a PortaPint drinks dispense system.

Connect filtered water and a correctly regulated beverage-grade CO₂ supply to the carbonator, then feed the carbonated water into your PortaPint to produce chilled soda water on tap.

Ideal for professional bars, mobile bars, festivals, events and other hospitality applications using PortaPint dispensers.

 

Please note this cannot be used on its own as it doens't have a built in chiller. It will require cooling to work such as a Portapint 50C,70C, 150C etc
